Included with the purchase I have over 200 paper documents and pages from the cars history over the past 53 years with other miscellaneous documents as well.
This car was appraised for insurance within the past three months and the appraisal found the Shelby to be in excellent condition.
this Shelby is in immaculate condition as evidence from photos shared in the listing, you could roll this car out of my garage right now and do a light dusting and she would be in national show quality condition (ultra-clean).
She starts on the first try and runs just as good as she looks! This particular model of Shelby has appreciated $3,000.

Thank you for reading and looking, good luck! Brief Historical Run Down of the Vehicle:
Built in May 1968 at Metuchen Facility Car Serialized on 4/22/1968 and Actually Built on 4/29/1968 Sold to first owner in TX where she was driven approximately 80,000 miles 1985 sold to second owner who lived in CA and he decides to do a full vehicle over haul 1986 the Shelby is completely disassembled and rebuilt with new red paint (not original but requested by the new owner) and a complete engine rebuild is done; in which the engine gets bored out.

In the process of the 1986 complete remodel it's noted in my paperwork the Shelby is found to have a completely clean frame with ZERO BONDO and rust free.
At this point the new owner decides to make this a show car and has remained such since.
Only 15k miles driven since.
July 1st, 2nd and 3rd of 1988 the Shelby makes her first appearance at a major car show; the SAAC 13 in Sonoma County CA and grabs her first major first place trophy (but definitely not her last) Stays in CA until that owner decides to part way with her and my father and I buy it in 2015.
Upon purchase in 2015 we do a remodel of the Shelby to get her back to VIN matching numbers.
We started with the engine, paint, suspension and exhaust.
She is stripped and put on a rotisserie and painted back to her gorgeous Lime Gold color.
Next the engine was cracked and found to be in great shape but the carburetor was in desperate need of some attention (mostly floater issues causing issues with the car stalling out).
Then the suspension was re-vamped to knock out some shaking issues at higher speeds and tires were replaced as well.
In 2016/2017 she was reintroduced to the show circuit and started cleaning up like she never missed a beat, but now she was back to her numbers matching shape!.
